POPS 2011 - Invitation – COME TO DENMARK !!!
POPS-DK 30 YEARS ANNIVERSARY
Now it's time to check in the calendar for POPS 2011 in Denmark, taking place on the 27th and 28th August, 2011, with possible arrival on the 26th August.
It will take place at the Aversi Parachute Center in island of Zealand with accomodation at the Hotel Vinhuset, Sankt Peders Kirkeplads 4, 4700 Næstved, (http://en.hotelvinhuset.dk/) an old and very charming hotel in the centre of Næstved.
It is possible for you with camper vans to camp at the grounds of Aversi Parachute Club.

Saturday 27th August:
08:00-10:00 am Breakfast
09:30: Briefing in the clubhouse at Aversi Faldskærmscenter
10:00 Competition begins
12:00 Light lunch
14:00 Competition resumes
18:00 Check-in at the Hotel Vinhuset
18:30 We meet for a welcome drink (party dress)
19:00 3 course gourmet dinner served in a separate room
Wine ad libitum
Coffee or tea
Midnight snack

Sunday 28th August:
07:30 Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and pay your rooms separately.
09:00 Jumps continue at the Aversi Aerodrome
12:00 Light lunch
12:30 Award ceremony
13:00 Annual general meeting for the members of Danish POPS-DK

Ole Banjo’s Jazz men will play for the dancing from 21.00 h to 24.00 h. We expect great music.

Please notice that the hotel is a completely non-smoking hotel at the entire hotel area.
As the hotel is situated in the very centre of Næstved there is no parking at the hotel, but in a distance of appr. 100 m you find a large parking area at “Bredstræde” which, to the best of my knowledge, is non-payable.

Friday evening
Starter: Smoked Tuna with carrot puré and pomegranate
Main course: Panchetta, long-term roasted wild boar with garlic, ro-semary and sage, accompanied by vegetables of the year, new pota-toes and sauce from the roast.
Saturday evening
18.30 Welcome drink: Sparkling Beringer Zinfandel

Starter: Grilled tiger prawns on Mango salad with chili, Coriander baked in Balsamico vinegar
